• Louisiana Tech splits a pair of conference games last week with a home win over Rice (79-74) and fell at UTEP (72-66) to move to 2-3 on the year in the conference standings. • Keiunna Walker averaged 25 points last week putting up a season-high 26 points and seven rebounds against Rice followed by a 24-point performance in El Paso. • Keiunna Walker now sits at No. 16 on the Lady Techster all-time scoring list, after passing Whitney Frazier, with 1,646 career points. • Keiunna Walker ranks No. 3 in career free-throw makes (469) and No. 3 in attempts (635). She has also eclipsed 500 made field goals in her career (562). • Amaya Brannon (15, 13) and Salma Bates (15,14) both hit double figures last week. Bates has had four-plus assists in five straight. • Lotte Sant has caught fire shooting 13-23 from three over her last five games and has three or more threes in five games this season. • Mackenzie Wurm has registered 10 blocks in the last four games, including three in three straight. She's the first Techsters to do so since Shanavia Dowdell in 2007-08. • Anna Larr Roberson became the 44th player in program history to reach 1,000 career points. She now sits at No. 39 with 1,102 career points, recently passing Teresa Weatherspoon. She is also No. 3 in alltime career Free Throw percentage list at .804. • Tech is 8-0 this season when holding teams to less than 60 points and 6-0 when out rebounding the opposition. • LA Tech returns 10 letter-winners from last year’s C-USA West Division and WNIT squad, including all five starters, while adding Pittsburgh transfer Gabbie Green (sat out last season due to injury) and two freshmen (Ayen Angoi and Anja Bukvic). • LA Tech returns 98% of last season’s minutes, scoring, assists, steals, 97% of their rebounds, and 93% of their blocks. • Keiunna Walker was named the 2022 C-USA Preseason Player of the Year and Anna Larr Roberson was named to the Preseason Second-Team. The Techsters were picked to finsihed second in the prseason coaches’ poll. • Last season, Tech surpassed 500 wins in the TAC and 400 wins on the road. LA Tech is two wins away from No. 600 in Ruston. • Brooke Stoehr surpassed 100 wins as the Lady Techsters head coach passing Teresa Weatherspoon for third ont the all-time list. • LA Tech added two new staff members this off-season in Associate Head Coach Nitra Perry and Assistant Coach Pierre Miller. • LA Tech added signed two players on the first day of the early signing period with guards Jianna Morris (Shrewood, Ark./Sylvan Hills HS) and Paris Guillory (Lake Charles, La./St. Louis Catholic). | 1
