• Louisiana Tech fell to 1-2 in C-USA play after dropping last week’s C-USA title game rematch to Charlotte, 57-66, playing in their second consecutive game without All-Conference player, Anna Larr Roberson.

• Amaya Brannon recorded her first-career double-double with 15 points and a career-high 10 rebounds in the loss. • In Tech’s last meeting with Rice, LA Tech pulled out a 90-80 double-OT victory which produced historic performances from Keiunna Walker and Anna Larr Roberson. Walker registered the program’s fourth triple-double and Roberson scored 44 points on 20 made FGs. • Tech is 8-0 this season when holding teams to less than 60 points and 6-0 when out rebounding the opposition. • Keiunna Walker now sits at No. 19 on the Lady Techster all-time scoring list, after passing Lori Scott and Trina Frierson in the win over UTSA. Walker has 1,596 career points. • Keiunna Walker ranks No. 3 in career free-throw makes (458) and No. 4 in attempts (623). She has also eclipsed 500 made field goals in her career (545). • Anna Larr Roberson became the 44th player in program history to reach 1,000 career points. She now sits at No. 39 with 1,102 career points, recently passing Teresa Weatherspoon. She is also No. 3 in alltime career Free Throw percentage list at .804. • Tech is on the heels of a C-USA West Division Title, C-USA tournament title apperance, WNIT bid, and 20-win season, last year. • LA Tech returns 10 letter-winners from last year’s squad, including all five starters, while adding Pittsburgh transfer Gabbie Green (sat out last season due to injury) and two freshmen (Ayen Angoi and Anja Bukvic). • LA Tech returns 98% of last season’s minutes, scoring, assists, steals, 97% of their rebounds, and 93% of their blocks. • Keiunna Walker was named the 2022 C-USA Preseason Player of the Year and Anna Larr Roberson was named to the Preseason Second-Team. The Techsters were picked to finsihed second in the prseason coaches’ poll. • Last season, Tech surpassed 500 wins in the TAC and 400 wins on the road. LA Tech is three wins away from No. 600 in Ruston.

A LOUISIANA TECH WIN WOULD...

• Brooke Stoehr surpassed 100 wins as the Lady Techsters head coach passing Teresa Weatherspoon for third ont the all-time list.

• Mark win No. 598 all-time in Ruston.

• LA Tech added two new staff members this off-season in Associate Head Coach Nitra Perry and Assistant Coach Pierre Miller.

• Mark win No. 152 as members of Conference USA. • Move Tech to 79-79 in C-USA games. • Give Tech their first 2-2 C-USA start for second time in three years.
