• Louisiana Tech plays its final non-conference road game this Saturday when they make the long trek to face Wyoming at 8 p.m. CT inside Arena-Auditorium. This will be the farthest trip for the Bulldogs during the 2022-23 season. • LA Tech extended its winning streak to five this past Friday with a 74-59 victory over Southern. In doing so, the Bulldogs set a new program record for the longest non-conference winning streak at home at 31 games. They have not lost at home in non-conference play in the last four years.

• Cobe Williams had one of the best statistical performances in college basketball this season against the Jaguars. Not only did he score a game-high 21 points (15 coming in the second half ), he also set or tied season highs in rebounds (7), assists (6), steals (4), and blocks (2). The fourth-year guard also committed zero turnovers in the process. • In the first half against Southern, it was Keaston Willis who was on fire offensively. He scored all 16 of his points through the first 20 minutes, sinking four three-pointers in the process. He has made at least three triples in each of the last five games (longest streak of his collegiate career), totaling 18 three-pointers during that span. • LA Tech has forced 20+ turnovers in five games this season. As a result, three players -- Cobe Williams (17), Isaiah Crawford (16), Jordan Crawford (16) -- rank in the top seven in the league in total steals with all three averaging at least 2.00 steals per game. The trio is part of only four teams in the country currently with 16+ steals apiece. • LA Tech’s defense has been outstanding in the first half this season, holding teams to just 28.6 points per game while allowing only 36 percent shooting from the field. Reversely, the Bulldogs have been outstanding on offense in the second half, scoring 40.8 points per game while shooting 50 percent from the field. • Saturday will be LA Tech’s fourth trip to the state of Wyoming. The Bulldogs faced the Cowboys in Laramie in 1991 and 2011 as well as a 1998 meeting in Casper.

The Bulldogs defeated Yale in 1998 as part of the Cowboy Shootout in Casper and defeated UMES in the opening game of the Jim Thorpe Classic in Laramie in 2011. • Be LA Tech’s sixth straight victory. The Bulldogs have registered at least a 6-game winning streak in each of the last two seasons.
