A LA TECH WIN... • Would be the first victory over a nationally-ranked opponent since LA Tech defeated No. 21-ranked New Orleans on Feb. 8, 1991. This will be just the fourth matchup against a nationally-ranked team in the last five years and the highest ranked team since playing No. 14 Alabama in 2021. • Would give the Bulldogs their sixth straight win away from home this season. LA Tech has won 11 of its last 13 games that were played on the road or at a neutral site. They have won four straight true road games dating back to last season.

• LA Tech was picked to finish first in the Conference USA preseason poll, as voted on by the league head coaches. It was definitely not unanimous as five of the 10 conference teams picked up at least one first-place vote and the top three were separated by only four points. This marks the first time since 2014 that the Bulldogs are preseason league favorites.
