• Louisiana Tech plays its fourth game in six days as they take on UT Southern to wrap up its multi-team event on Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. inside the Pete Hanna Center. • LA Tech handed Samford its first loss of the season with a 79-76 victory on Friday. The road ‘Dogs forced a season-high 23 turnovers on defense and hit 10 three-pointers on offense to help pick up their third victory this week. • Cobe Williams led the Bulldogs in scoring for a third time this season, recording 25 points. The fourth-year guard has scored 16+ points in all five games he has played in this season. It was his fourth career 20-point scoring performance. He ranks third in Conference USA currently at 19.8 points per game. • Isaiah Crawford had arguably his best game this year, registering a season-high 22 points. He also matched his season high of eight rebounds to go along with four assists. In the three games this week, the forward is averaging 15.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game.
• Jordan Crawford dished out five assists in the win over Samford, giving him a teamhigh 25 for the season. The true freshman has registered at least three assists in all six JANUARY games this season. He has anchored the team in assists in three of the six games. 5 7 11 14 19 21 26 28

• The Bulldogs just wrapped up playing its fourth true road game of the season. The other 10 Conference USA teams have played 12 true road games combined. For the first time since 2018, LA Tech has won back-to-back road games during non-conference play. • For the fourth time this season, the Bulldogs forced their opponent into 20+ turnovers. LA Tech has turned those turnovers into points, scoring 20+ off turnovers in all six games this season (averaging 22.0). • For the fourth straight game, the Bulldogs eclipsed 40 points in the second half. So far this season, LA Tech is averaging 40.3 points in the second half while shooting 50 percent from the field and 38 percent from beyond the arc. On the flipside, they are averaging 34.8 points in the first half while shooting 44 percent from the field.
