• Louisiana Tech closes out the regular season on Saturday night as they take on Florida Atlantic at 6 p.m. inside the Thomas Assembly Center on Karl Malone Court. The Owls will be the No. 1 seed in the C-USA Tournament having already clinched their first ever regular season title outright. • LA Tech snapped its six-game losing streak on Thursday, outlasting FIU in overtime by a final score of 77-76. The Bulldogs ended up overcoming a 16-point deficit, tied for their second largest comeback in the last decade. It marked the fifth OT game played this season for LA Tech, the most in program history and tied for the most by a C-USA team this season. • The Bulldogs got double-digit scoring from five different players -- Keaston Willis (18), Isaiah Crawford (16), Jordan Crawford (14), Kenny Hunter (13), and Dravon Mangum (10). It was only the fourth time this season, and only second time in conference, that LA Tech has had five played with at least 10 points. • In the last 10 games, Isaiah Crawford is averaging 15.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.9 steals, and 0.8 blocks per game. He is also shooting 48.3 percent from the field and 45.2 from beyond the arc during this span. • Kenny Hunter has had the best three-game stretch of his career, averaging 11.0 points, 12.3 rebounds, 1.4 blocks, and 1.4 steals per game. He has recorded back-toback double-doubles, going for 11 points and a career-high 15 rebounds at Middle Tennessee and then a 13-point, 13-rebound performance versus FIU. • LA Tech has been in close game after close game after close game. In fact, 20 of their 30 games this season have been decided by 10 points or less (the most since the 201112 season). Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, they are a combined 7-13 in those games. • Isaiah Crawford and Keaston Willis as well as graduate manager Kyle Smith will be honored Saturday as part of Senior Day. Both Crawford and Willis still have at least one year of eligibility. • This will be the first time since 2020 that LA Tech hosts Florida Atlantic. It will also be the first time since 2011 (Utah State) that the Bulldogs host a team with a 27-3 record.
