• Louisiana Tech continues its stretch of three league road games in seven days as they take on New Mexico State on Saturday night at 8 p.m. inside the Pan American Center. The Bulldogs will be looking for their first ever win over the Aggies in Las Cruces. • After defeating UTEP in El Paso on Thursday, the Bulldogs remain tied with Sam Houston atop the CUSA standings with four games remaining while WKU is half a game back. • LA Tech picked up its third straight win by defeating UTEP, 65-59. In the midst of nine ties and 18 lead changes, the Bulldogs pulled away late to defeat the Miners in the Don Haskins Center. It was LA Tech’s fourth CUSA road win, the most of any team in the league. • LA Tech held UTEP to 38.7 percent shooting from the field, the 17th time this season holding an opponent to under 40 percent which is the most in the country. The Bulldogs rank sixth in the country in field goal percentage defense, allowing teams to shoot just 38.9 percent. It was also the seventh time holding a CUSA opponent under 60 points. • LA Tech outrebounded UTEP, 45-28, marking the 20th time this season they have outrebounded its opponent. The Bulldogs also pulled down double-digit offensive boards (15) for the 21st time. They currently rank top 50 in the country in rebounds per game (39.07) and rebounding margin (6.2). Three Bulldogs pulled down at least eight rebounds, including Will Allen (10) and Tahlik Chavez (nine) who recorded new career highs on the boards. • Isaiah Crawford registered 19 points, reaching double-digit points for the 22nd time this season. He has scored 10+ points in 16 of the last 17 games as the forward continues to pace the Bulldogs offensively, averaging 16.1 points (17.6 points in league play which ranks second in CUSA) while shooting 50.0 percent from the field and 42.0 percent from three. • Tahlik Chavez recorded a game-high 20 points versus the Miners, his seventh game this season of 20+ points (second straight). He went 4-of-9 from behind the arc, the 16th time this season making at least three triples in a single game. He is shooting a CUSA-best 42.3 percent from three which ranks 16th in the country. The guard is averaging 16.3 points per game during CUSA play. • Both Daniel Batcho and Sean Newman Jr. made their return to the court and made a big impact in the win over UTEP. Batcho tallied 11 points, five rebounds, and five blocks. He now has 56 blocks for the season and is averaging 2.4 blocks per game, 10th best in the nation. Newman Jr. dished out six assists in his return, bringing his season total to 120 which is the most in CUSA. His 5.2 assists per game also ranks 40th in the country. • Isaiah Crawford tallied one block and one steal against UTEP, marking the 20th time this season having at least one of each (10th straight). He now has 47 blocks and 60 steals, the only player in the country with at least 40 blocks and 60 steals. The forward has 60+ steals in back-to-back seasons, the third player in program history to do so.

A LA TECH WIN... • Would give the Bulldogs their first ever win over the Aggies in Las Cruces, having lost all 10. This would also mark the first time winning back-to-back games over New Mexico State. • Would give the Bulldogs their 20th win of the season. It would mark the 10th time in the last 12 seasons that LA Tech reaches 20 victories. • Would give the Bulldogs their 10th CUSA win. LA Tech has won double-digit conference games in eight of the last 11 seasons.
