• Louisiana Tech is set to play a pair of conference home games this week, starting on Thursday night at 6 p.m. against North Texas. The Bulldogs will play four of its last six league games inside the Thomas Assembly Center on Karl Malone Court. • LA Tech was on the cusp of upsetting the top team in Conference USA on their home court, but the Bulldogs ended up falling in overtime, 90-85, to Florida Atlantic this past Saturday in Boca Raton. The ‘Dogs overcame a 15-point deficit in the second half to force OT, but the Owls held a 14-9 scoring advantage in the extra frame to remain undefeated inside Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena. • It was the fourth overtime game played for the Bulldogs this season (2-2 record), tied for the seventh most of any team in the country and tied for the most in C-USA along with UAB, Rice, and UTEP. It is the most OT games played in a single season for LA Tech since the 2015-16 season when they also played four.
• Isaiah Crawford was a beast against the Owls, playing a career-high 41 minutes while tying his season high with 25 points (fifth game of 20+ points this season). He also anchored the Bulldogs with a season-high nine rebounds to go along four steals and two assists. • Cobe Williams added 20 points in the loss to FAU, scoring 20+ points for the sixth time in the last eight games. He has scored 20+ points in 11 games this season, the fourth most in C-USA and the second most by a Bulldog in the last decade (Alex Hamilton did it 15 times in 2015-16). He also continued his streak of games with at least 16 points in, extending that to 15 straight games which is the longest streak of anyone in C-USA this season and the third longest streak of any Bulldog in the last 20 years. • Over the last five seasons, 12 of the 13 games played between LA Tech and North Texas have been decided by seven points or less (and six of the 13 have been decided by two points or less). • With six conference games remaining, LA Tech is in a tie with WKU for seventh place (just one and a half games back of fourth). The top five teams will receive a bye in the Conference USA Tournament.

It is the longest active streak in C-USA currently and is tied for the 13th longest active streak in the country. • Mean a regular season split between the Bulldogs and Mean Green. So far, LA Tech has only lost both conference meetings to one team this season (UAB) and either split/ won the series against everyone else.
