• Louisiana Tech looks to put an end to a two-game losing skid on Thursday night when they play host to WKU in an 8 p.m. battle inside the Thomas Assembly Center on Karl Malone Court. It will be the 41st meeting between the Bulldogs and Hilltoppers. • LA Tech suffered just its second loss of the season this past Saturday, falling 81-74 to UAB. The Bulldogs had an eight-point lead with under five minutes to go, but the Blazers closed the game out on a 19-4 run. LA Tech got big offensive performances by Cobe Williams and Keaston Willis, but UAB dominated the glass to the tune of 21 offensive rebounds that they cashed in for 30 second-chance points. • Cobe Williams recorded a career-high 27 points while Keaston Willis provided a season-high 23 points. The duo combined to go 14-of-26 from the field (54 percent) and 8-of-16 from behind the arc (50 percent). It marked just the second time since 2017 that a pair of Bulldogs combined to score 50+ points in a single game (Kenneth Lofton, Jr. and Amorie Archibald combined for 51 versus UAB last season).
• Keaston Willis has started to light it up again from three. Over the last four games, the sharpshooter has made 14 of his 23 three-point attempts while averaging 16.0 points per game. Included in this stretch was playing a season-high 43 minutes (most JANUARY by a Bulldog since 2016) in the OT win at Rice and all 40 minutes in the matchup versus 5 at Rice* ESPN+ W 88-82OT UAB (first time a Bulldog has played every second of a non-OT game since 2016). 7 11 14 19 21 26 28
