Scholarship awards are based upon a combination of a written essay, scholastic achievement, extracurricular activities, and community involvement. Eight winners will receive $4,500, while the grand prize winner will be awarded $6,000! This year’s scholarship essay topic is: “The past year saw unprecedented levels of tension among law enforcement, communities, and politicians. Describe solutions that can help ease tensions within our society while preserving public safety, trust, fairness, and peace officer morale.”
Get your 2021 scholarship application from any LAPFCU branch or at lapfcu.org/scholarship-program. Entries are due April 1. If emailing your submission, please send it in Word or PDF file format. Winners will be notified by May 1.
