Nurse's Diary

Dear Diary: Nurse

Dear Diary,

Today, as any other day, Ms Capulet was rude to me During lunch, she kept talking to Mr Capulet about how us the poor should not be able to give an opinion and how good of a person she is for keeping me as a maid even though I don’t quit talking. But I believe if you have something to say, you should say it. Because of her terrible attitude lately I’ve been spitting in her tea, coffee and food before giving it to her as well as adding extra fat to her food. Recently she is being saying how she is an in a low fat diet, but the next time she weights herself she will see that her “diet” made her gain a few pounds. When They finished eating, my dear Juliet asked me if I could go to the market and get her favorite fruits So I went When I was there I realized that some of the young boys were there, then I realized that they were about to fight. But, out of nowhere the prince appear and said, “If ever you disrupt our streets again, Your lives shall pay the forteir of the peace. For this time, all the rest depart away”(original text, p #14) Hopefully that keeps the families from fighting because I'm tired of hearing the Capulets in each reunion talk about how they hate the Montagues. I have a friend that works for the Montagues, and she tells me that the hate is mutual. Not even us the poor fight so much But, how will the rich know if the only things that make them talk to us is to ask us to serve them. Although, all the young boys in this family as well as the gentleman seem to hate the other family, it does not seem to be a reason for such hate. Oh , I know that my dear Juliet is different, hopefully she will be the one Capulet to bring peace to both families and maybe then the poor handsome prince would not have to be expecting a fight between the families so often. Well dear diary I will keep you updated in how the situation advances.

Have a good night

PD: Remember to think of ways to make Ms. Capulets dresses uncomfortable without her finding out

Dear Diary,

Recently Mr. Count Paris has been talking a lot to Mr. Capulet, he always sends a letter in the mail. And yesterday I heard them talking about how he wanted to mary my dear Juliet. But, Mr. Capulet was not so excited about the idea, after all Juliet is not yet 14 So he answered to Mr Paris’s proposal, “But saying o’er what I have said before. My child is yet a stranger in the world. She hath not seen the change of fourteen years. Let two more summers wither in their pride. Ere we may think her ripe to be a bride”(original text, P#28) I think that Mr Caplet is right , but imagine marring a Count I guess that would really elevate the Capulet’s social status even more. After their chat, Mr. Capulet invites Mr. Paris to the party tonight so he could talk to my dear Juliet and try convincing her to mary him any time soon. I’m sure my dear Juliet will make the right decision, both for her and her family I helped organize Mr Capulet’s party and or course help Juliet get ready for it And I have to say It was a fool house. Oh, god I’m just hoping that it isn’t a bid mess because I was planing on taking it easy with the cleaning tomorrow, but it seems it will be a had day And Extra hard because if the rest of the guest were as drunk as Mr Capulet, the house will have puke all over The party was not fascinating, Or course I had to stay in the kitchen with the rest of the maids because we shall not be seen. Especially in rich people parties they don't like their guest to see us so we shall remain in the kitchen or in our rooms There were a lot of faces I recognized because they were Mr Capulets friends or family member but, I saw 2 young boys I had never seen before or not near this house at the party. I suppose that they snuck in. I think they were quite nice, specially one of them because I saw him and my dear Juliet exchanging a few words with him and then suddenly they both disappeared Furthermore, I recall finding Juliet later, and she seems happy, I guess she got to talk to Count Paris, and maybe he convinced her of their marriage. The party was almost over and Mr. Capulet caught both boys, apparently they were both Montagues. Well idea Diary I am finally allowed to go and rest, so I will finish talking to you about the party tomorrow morning before my duty begins

Good night diary

PD: Remember me to look for the best war to clean puke out of a carpet

Dear Diary,

As promised, I will finish telling you about the party, although I was hoping to be a little bit more rested. Last night, apparently that young boy I told you was lost and ended up in fonts of my dear Juliet’s balcony I think he was talking to himself, but god he was talking loudly because he not only was keeping me awake but also my poor Juliet. I could not hear much, but I think he was maybe praying or something. Because he said “O’ speak again bright angel! For thou art As glorious to this night, being o’er my head, As a winged messenger of heaven. Unto the white, upturned, wondering eyes. Of mortals that fall back to gaze on him. When he bestries the lazy-puffing clouds. And saileds upon the bosom of the air” (original text, #80). And I'm telling you he was talking real loud because he woke my dear Juliet, and she said to him “O Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou Rome? Deny thy father and refuse thy name. Or, if thou wilt not, be bust sworn my love, And I’ll no longer be a Capulet.” (original text #80) I think she said that I'm not sure about the last part because I fell asleep When I went to Juliet’s room to wake up, she seemed to have already awoken, or maybe she didn’t even rest an eye I bet it was that Romeo boy keeping her awake. Or maybe she just could not sleep. She looked weird, or at least out of common. She kept smiling, and I have to say I had never seen her smile that hard It was like she was enlightened My say it is love but god what would she know about love she is not even 14 years old. But maybe she is. At noon, Ms. Capulet entered the room with big news, and it was to ask Juliet is she wanted to mary count Paris. And the smile got erased from her face. There was a discussion between her mother and her of course I say that I supported the idea but when things escalated, people were screaming and Mr. Capulet kicked me out of the room he said that my opinion was not welcomed because of my social status. I was not surprised because the rich always think that the only opinions that matter are theirs and is they knew Juliet as well as I do, maybe there would have been no fight Anyway diary I will talk to you latter because I have work to do, and also my dear Juliet said that she had something to tell me and a favor to ask.

Have a nice day, Nurse

Dear Diary,

Dear diary, the situation took a big turn because my dear Juliet told me she is in love. And it is not count Paris but the gentle of the party, Mr. Romeo. I was really confused, but she explained that in the party they meet each other and even shared a kiss. She also told me that they are both madly in love with each other and that the night of the balcony they were not only talking to themselves but also to each other. And that Romeo was planing on asking Fried Lawrence to marry them in secret. At first, I thought she was making a joke of some kind, but it appeared that she was being serious and in fact was planing on marring the young Montague I asked her is she knew how the implication of making such a choice and that she was probably not having her family’s blessing, and she did not seem to care. She looked excited and asked me for a favor If I could go to the market and meet with Romeo and his friends to receive the message if he was able to convince Fried Lawrence to marry them secretly Considering that I could get fired is Mr or Ms Capulet catch me, I still went cause oh. I would do anything for my dear Juliet, and she seemed happy, I figured it was definitely worth it. I meet with Romeo and received the happy news He explained the plan that I had to pass down to Juliet, “Bid her devise Some means to come to shrift this afternoon And there shall Friar Lawrence’ cell. Be shrived and married.”(original text #120) I was so happy for them, and then he handed me some coins for myself. I have to say, Romeo seems a better person than all the rich people I have worked with I went to tell my dear Juliet the happy news Furthermore, I have to say that I have never seen her so happy, the radiant smile she has before become even bigger. I explained the plan and helped her get ready. Then we told Mr. and Ms. Capulet that she was going to confess herself, and of course I stayed at home If something happened, I would make sure that her parents didn’t suspect a thing. Well dear diary that was it.

Have a nice day, Nurse

PD: Remember to ask I if I can be the maid at Juliet’s and Romeo’s house because they are much nicer than their families

Dear Diary,

Hello dear diary, the chaos in this family seems to be getting worse because now all of a sudden my dear Juliet agreed to marry Count Paris. “Where I have learned me to repent the sin. Of disobedient opposition. To you and your behests, and am enjoined. By holy Lawrence to fall prostrate here. To beg you your pardon Pardon, I beseech you! Henceforward, I am ever ruled by you.”(original text #2022) It is pretty weird considering the big fight the family went through when she said she didn’t want to marry him. Maybe she does not what to be with that murderer of Romeo. Hi mean who wants to mary a murderer He sure looked like a really sweet boy and was really kind, also made my dear Juliet really happy, but they are still just kids they don’t know love. He has been sent away because yesterday in Mr. Tybalt that is Ms Capulet nephew was murdered by Romeo. Apparently, he was with some friends when they encountered Mr Tybalt, and they engaged in a fight and Romeo murdered him Oh, boy, why did you do that y=to yourself I can’t imagine how my poor Juliet must be feeling, being so young and so in love and being challenge with being in love with the family that your family hates and now your cousin being murdered by your husband Poor Juliet but she must have been furious, after all it was a tiering work keeping them both a secret, and then he comes and in a cruel act makes the situation even more complicated. Although she does not seem mad but really sad, I can understand Today she requested she wanted to be alone and went for outside to clear her mind about her cousin’s death, but it was evident that was going to think about Romeo. I guess it has not been easy for her after all since the murder all the family has been hating on Romeo and the Montagues. Well dear diary I will keep you updated on the situation but for now it seems like things will be hectic for the next few days especially because Mr. Capulet moved the wedding to tomorrow. I think it was a careless decision taking into account everything that has happened.

Bye, Dear diary

PD: Be sure to be away when people tomorrow get really drunk so you don’t have to clean it up, and also keep an eye in the food because it's going to be good.

Dear Diary,

A tragedy has happened, my dear Juliet is now dead She is as cold as ice and her skin is so pale as a ghost. Oh, my poor Juliet on her wedding day and after all she went through, maybe she dies of love. Maybe the separation between her and Romeo got in the way of her health. Oh, Juliet, you had so much to live for I feel like my heart stopped being as soon as I heard the news You were like a daughter to me and since you were little I know you were special, why did you have to leave us so early. Today I went to visit her tomb and Oh my god things because more complicated. The priest explained to us everything how when Romeo was sent away Juliet and him planned a way to fake her dear to let Romeo know she is alive so they could go and live together. But the plan went sideways because the message was never delivered to Romeo and when he came to visit her tomb he found Paris and after fighting Paris was stabbed After seeing Juliet's body, Romeo dranked a bottle of poison and shortly after my poor Juliet woke up of her sleep and after finding him dear decided to join him in entering rest. After all, they will be together for eternity where no one will bother them, not even their families Well Diary it seems that Verona’s big secret love has come to an end, but surely death didn’t do them apart but joined together in entering rest and the forbidden love ended in tragedy.

Goodbye Dear Diary,

PD: now families have left they hate behind and seem to be getting along over the death of their children. At the end it had a part of happiness this ending as bad our secret lovers were not here to see it

Have a good life, Your dear Nurse
