Dr. Emily Paterson Harris joined Langston University in 1981 as a librarian at the LU-Tulsa campus. SInce then, she has used her skills, knowledge and talent to implement generational change into the students at Langston University through education. From her work at the Tulsa Campus to her final position as Dean of the School of Education and Behavioral Sciences, Dr. Patterson Harris has left a last legacy at Dear Langston during her 44 year career.
