As I sat in my stand this fall, I reflected on the origins of my bow hunting passion. Unlike the typical “it runs in the family” tale, my journey into hunting wasn’t ingrained from childhood, although my dad’s side did play a role.
Growing up, hunting wasn’t a family tradition, and opportunities to venture into the woods were scarce.
