What inspired you to become a realtor, and how did you get started in the industry? I have always been inspired by interior design and architecture, and most of all, by helping families bring their dreams to life. I entered the real estate industry in 2002 while working at a strategic management consulting firm in Century City. Surrounded by stunning homes, especially in Holmby Hills, Beverly Hills and the beach cities of Marina del Rey and Manhattan Beach, I recognized early on that the luxury real estate market was where I aspired to be. I was determined to play a hands-on role in the process. Working with clients and seeing the excitement in their eyes when they finally close escrow is incredibly fulfilling. It was a world apart from a traditional 9-to-5 office job and ultimately the best career decision I ever made. What do you enjoy most about working in real estate? I love working in the real estate industry because of the diverse cultures and people I meet. I have learned so much from my clients about family values, strength, challenges and everything that comes with the transition of moving. It can be a hectic process, and I am proud to be the person who helps ease the stress and address any issues that may arise. What do you love about the neighborhoods you work in? I love the neighborhoods I work in because they give me the chance to connect with local business owners. It feels a bit like Cheers, where everyone knows your name. I also love the weather, the beaches, the sand and, of course, the energy of the city, from Rodeo Drive to its iconic shops. It truly feels like the best of both worlds. What’s your vision for the future of your real estate business? My vision for the future is to continue providing exceptional service while leveraging innovative technology to deliver a professional, efficient and transparent experience for my clients. I aim to go beyond the traditional broker role and become a comprehensive lifestyle partner, supporting clients not only through their real estate transactions but also through the lifestyle transitions that come with them. How do you plan to continue growing and evolving in your career? I plan to continue growing in my real estate career by building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, colleagues and industry professionals. These connections not only generate referrals but also create a steady, reliable stream of business. Above all, I believe in staying authentic and being guided by purpose-driven values that shape every interaction and decision I make.

What inspired you to become a realtor, and how did you get started in the industry? I was inspired to become a realtor when I bought my own home in the Hollywood Hills more than 20 years ago. The experience made me realize how much I enjoyed the process—from analyzing the investment to negotiating the deal. With my background as a former stockbroker on Wall Street, the transition felt natural. I’ve been helping clients buy and sell homes ever since, and I still love what I do every day. What do you enjoy most about working in real estate? What I enjoy most is helping people reach their goals, whether that means finding the right home or getting the best possible esult on a sale. Every deal is diffe ent, and I love the mix of strategy, communication and trust it takes to make things happen. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a client happy at the end of a transaction and knowing I helped make it smooth and successful. What do you love about the neighborhoods you work in? I love the variety and character of Los Angeles—from the architecture in the Hollywood Hills to the classic charm of Hancock Park and the energy of Beverly Hills. Each neighborhood has its own personality and lifestyle. What ties them together are the people: creative, ambitious and passionate about where they live. Helping clients find the right home in a neighborhood that fits ho they are is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. Whats your vision for the future of your real estate business? My vision is to continue growing a business built on trust, expertise and results, while embracing new technology and marketing tools that give clients every advantage. I want to keep elevating the client experience, expanding my reach in Los Angeles’ top neighborhoods and mentoring the next generation of agents who share the same commitment to professionalism and integrity. How do you plan to continue growing and evolving in your career? I plan to keep growing by staying curious and open to change. You’ve spent more than two decades helping hundreds of entertainment-industry clients buy and sell homes across Los Angeles. How has the relationship between the business of Hollywood and L.A. real estate evolved during that time, and what does it reveal about the city itself? When I started, the industry side of Hollywood was still pretty private. Clients wanted big gates and high hedges in Beverly Hills or the Hills. Today, it’s more about lifestyle than secrecy. You’ll see producers choosing architectural gems in Los Feliz, actors living east of La Brea, and executives opting for walkability in places like Hancock Park or Venice. The business has diversified, and so has the geography of where its players live. Los Angeles real estate has always mirrored Hollywood, and right now both are more creative, global, and self-expressive than ever. With so many distinct neighborhoods offering their own version of “the L.A. dream,” what defines luxury in Los Angeles today, and how does it differ from other major markets like Manhattan or Miami? Unlike New York, where luxury is vertical, or South Beach, where it’s about spectacle, Los Angeles luxury is horizontal. It stretches out. It’s light, land, and lifestyle. That could mean a 1960s midcentury perched over the city, a 1920s Spanish Colonial Revival with vintage character, or a fire-defensible new build with no visible neighbors. The through line is individuality. After 23 years in the business and nearly $800 million in career sales, what’s one piece of advice you give clients that still holds true no matter the market?

Fall in love with the property, but buy with your head, not just your heart. The best deals I’ve seen come from clients who understand that the right choice is a mix of feeling and fundamentals: good location, good bones, and a clear plan for the residence’s future. Markets rise and fall, trends come and go, but if you buy something that fits your life and your long-term goals, it will always be the right move. With Hollywood as a backdrop, what’s the most surprising or amusing thing you’ve experienced? F. What inspired you to become a realtor, and how did you get started in the industry? My transition into real estate evolved naturally from my 20-year acting career in the entertainment industry. During that time, I regularly invested my studio earnings into properties, which sparked a genuine interest in design, architecture and longterm value creation. As a longtime resident of Santa Monica Canyon, where I live with my husband and our six boys, I understand the rhythm of daily life here, the sense of community, the outdoor lifestyle and the understated luxury that define these neighborhoods. MONET BERGER REALTOR MONET BERGER GROUP What inspired you to become a realtor, and how did you get started in the industry? I always say real estate chose me before I ever officially chose it. I've always been obsessed wi beautiful spaces, great design, and the way a home can completely shift someone's life. But more than that, I've always been drawn to people, their stories, and their next chapter. I got started the way most good things in life begin; with a little intuition and a lot of hustle. I took my love for architecture, neighborhoods, and connecting with people, and turned it into a business built on trust, relationships, and a very high standard of service. What do you enjoy most about working in real estate? What I enjoy most about real estate is the people. Truly. Every client, every home, every story is completely diffe ent, and I love slipping into that world with them understanding what they need, what they dream about, and what will actually make them feel "this is home". I also love the choreography of it all, the design, the strategy, the relationships, the negotiating, the little surprises that make clients feel taken care of. It's equal parts business, intuition, and heart, and that combination lights me up. Real estate, for me, is not about transactions. It's about people, trust, beauty, and new beginnings. And I feel incredibly lucky that I get to do it every day. What do you love about the neighborhoods you work in? What I love most about the neighborhoods I work in is that each one has its own heartbeat. Beverly Hills, Hancock Park, West Hollywood, Bel Air, they are all diffe ent, yet all so full of character, history, and personality. I love knowing the little things: where to get the best matcha, which streets glow at sunset, which blocks have the dreamiest architecture, and which sushi spot is the best. These neighborhoods aren't just places I work; they are places I live in, breathe in, and genuinely adore. I am constantly on the hunt for every hidden gem.
