Building a lasting legacy As CEO of the Wakatipu Community Foundation(WCF), I’m thrilled to invite you to join us in a season of reflection and celebration. At WCF, our mission is to grow philanthropy. We believe everyone can make a difference, and through thoughtful giving, you can leave a meaningful imprint on the community you love. Whether it’s preserving our stunning landscapes or enriching the lives of our residents, we work alongside you to ensure your contributions support the areas you care about most. The sense of awe we all feel for this beautiful place often drives our desire to give back. The majestic mountains, gorgeous lakes, and beautiful valleys instil a deep appreciation for the natural beauty that surrounds us. This awe compels us to think beyond ourselves, considering how we can preserve this stunning environment and ensure our community continues to flourish. The event’s theme, ‘Dream Big’, encapsulates our collective aspirations for a brighter, more sustainable future. The Gala will honour individuals and organisations that embody the spirit of generosity, commitment, and vision that defines our region. These awards are a chance to recognise those who have gone above and beyond to nurture both the people and the land that make our community special.
