Lake Manyara Serena Lodge/ Lake Manyara Escarpment Luxury Lodge
Drive to Lake Manyara this morning, famous for the tree climbing lions and the vast elephant herds. The shores of the lake attract more than 400 species of birds, including the pink flamingos.

Ngorongoro Crater Ngorongoro Serena / The Manor Ngorongoro This morning drive to Ngorongoro where we will visit Olduvai Gorge enroute, an ancient homind archaeological site, located in the Great Rift Valley. The excavations by Louis and Mary Leakey in the mid-1950’s were important because they established the African origin of humankind. Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most fascinating wildlife spectacles, is a 12 mile diameter caldera and harbors many species of animals including the elusive black rhino. Enjoy lunch in the crater floor during the game viewing drive.

Serengeti Mbuzi Mawe Serena Camp / Escarpment Luxury Serengeti Lodge Depart for the Serengeti which is another one of the great game reserves and the jewel of Tanzania. Enroute visit a Maasai Village (Manyatta) for some unique cultural experience. The name Serengeti is derived from the Maasai word for “endless plains” and this is where millions of animals move in the ancient rhythms of the seasons. Your game drives provide views of zebra, giraffe, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelle, eland and klipspringer.
