LAFD FILM - 2026 Authorization for UFSO When a Uniformed Fire Safety Officer (aka UFSO) is required at an approved production facility for an audience show, drone use, special event, wrap party, etc., or when a UFSO is required for any filming scheduled to occur on state property, payment shall be made directly the LAFD. This form shall be utilized for that payment and payment shall be made directly to the LAFD at least 1 business day prior to the arrival of the UFSO. [PLEASE NOTE: FilmLA handles all UFSO payments for productions that are filming ON LOCATION within the City of Los Angeles, but does not handle payment for UFSO's hired at approved production facilities, or for productions filming on state property.]
