Photographer wants to break world record
Rajesh Kumar, a Sydney-based photographer, took eight hours to capture portraits of 1 010 individuals. He set the record during the India-Australia Friendship Fair in Sydney, Australia. Tzaneen-based photographer, Joe Dreyer, is planning to challenge this record by photographing 1 011 individuals in the space of just seven hours. Alida Smit, General Manager at Tzaneen Lifestyle Centre has come onboard to support the record-breaking attempt. “We have the go ahead to setup at Lifestyle Centre next week. We are looking at Saturday, the 10th of December and ask that everyone come and have their studio portrait taken on that day. It’s free and your support can help put us on the map!” said Dreyer. “We only need 1 011 people to sit down for 10 seconds and then carry on with their day. No makeup needed. Just come and sit and smile!” More details will be posted over Bulletin’s Facebook page and the event will be streamed live on the day. Photo: Joe Dreyer
