Letter to parents - Midsummer 2026

Parent Letter – Midsummer Concert Dear Parents, We hope you are looking forward to our Midsummer Concert on Thursday 7th May 2026 at 7pm, held in the Assembly Hall. The concert will involve the following groups: Sinfonietta, LEH String Society, Lady El’s Angels, Harp Quartet, The Minchkins, P’zzazz (Chamber Choir), Middle School Rock Band & the Decibelles. What does your daughter need to wear? • Black dresses or skirts – to the knee at least. Opaque black tights. No bare legs. No white socks. • Black leggings only if covered by a t-shirt or skirt of a decent length. • Black trousers are also fine but no black jeans. Black tops/shirts with no logos. Tops should cover the shoulders. No bare midriffs. • Black shoes – no trainers. Arrival and Departure • If pupils are staying after school, they need to bring a packed tea. They will be supervised at all times by staff. • Pupils should go to the LRC from 4-5.45pm to complete their homework where they can be supervised. • At 5.45pm, they should go to the Dining Room to eat their packed tea. • At 6.15pm, they should get changed and take everything to their green rooms. • Pupils will meet parents in the Atrium by the lunch hall once the concert has finished. Green Rooms • Thirds, L4 and U4 – Theatre • L5 & U5 – M1 Seating You will be able to choose seats as you arrive on the night of the concert – seats are unreserved. Doors open from 6:30pm. There is no interval.
