isten! We have a story to tell you. Not very long ago, there was a girl living behind a waterfall hidden away from all the people. Her name was Nikala. She was 11 years old and had curly pink hair, brown skin, blue eyes and wore butterfly earrings in her ears and Jordans on her feet. Nikala lived with her pet pink teacup pig named Rose. Behind the waterfall where Nikala lived, it was beautiful. There was a big body of land where rare animals lived. There were wolves with wings, baby fire dragons, ice dragons and a megalodon. Nikala understood the language of the rare animals because she was raised by them.

scucha! Tenemos una historia que contarte. No hace mucho tiempo, había una niña viviendo detrás de una cascada escondida de toda la gente. Su nombre era Nikala. Ella tenía once años. El color de su pelo rizado era rosa, piel morena, ojos azules, aretes de mariposas y tenis Jordan en sus pies. Nikala vivía con su cerdita en miniatura que se llamaba Rose. Detrás de la cascada, donde vivía Nikala, todo era hermoso. Había una tierra vasta y animales muy raros. Había lobos con alas, dragones bebé, dragones de hielo y un megalodón. When Nikala said the magic word, “Pronto!” she would turn into a pink dragon, named Shell; her hair would change to rainbow colors and her eye color would change depending on her feelings. When she turned into a dragon, Nikala had the powers to fly, to breathe fire, to teleport and to camouflage herself to blend into the background.
Cuando Nikala decía la palabra mágica, “¡Pronto!” se convertía en un dragón rosado que se llamaba Shell; su pelo se convertía en alas de los colores del arco iris y el color de sus ojos cambiaba dependiendo de sus sentimientos. Cuando se convertía en dragón, Nikala era capaz de volar, exhalaba fuego, podía teletransportarse y camuflarse.
When Nikala said the magic word “Cascada,” the waterfall would open so she and the animals could pass through. Then Nikala would have to say “Cascada” again, to close the waterfall and hide the place where Nikala, her pet pig and the rare animals lived.
Cuando Nikala decía la palabra mágica, “¡Cascada!,” la cascada se abría para que ella y los animales pudieran pasar. Entonces, Nikala tenía que decir otra vez “¡Cascada!,” para cerrar la cascada y esconder el lugar donde vivía con su cerdita y animales raros.

One day she passed through the waterfall with her pet pig, Rose, and some of the rare animals to gather food in the forest. An arrow flew by and struck a tree. Nikala saw that it had the symbol of the Evil Kingdom. She and the animals ran back through the waterfall. Nikala said, “Cascada!,” and the waterfall closed. A hunter ran to the waterfall, looked around for the girl and the animals but didn’t see them. He did find a scale and mysterious footprints.
Un día, ella pasó por la cascada con su cerdita Rose y algunos de los animales para buscar comida en el bosque. Una flecha voló y pegó en un árbol. Nikala vio que la flecha tenía un símbolo del Reino Malvado. Ella y los animales corrieron de nuevo a la cascada. Nikala dijo, “¡Cascada!,” y la cascada se cerró. The hunter, whose name was Sam, was short with bright red hair who wore camouflage clothes and carried his bow and arrow on his back. He went back to the scientists of the Evil Kingdom and told them what he had seen and showed them the scale. The scientists told the hunter to go back and try to find where the scale came from and what had made the footprints. The hunter went back to the waterfall. This time, Nikala had forgotten to close the waterfall so the hunter was able to go through. He saw the rare animals and a pink dragon. The hunter was scared so he shot his arrows at them, but missed. He ran back through the waterfall, through the forest and all the way to the scientists’ castle. Nikala as Shell, the dragon, hadn’t realized that the hunter had come through the waterfall but her pig, Rose, told her what had happened. Nikala went back to her human form, shouted, “Cascada,” and the waterfall closed.
El cazador, que se llamaba Sam, era bajito, pelirojo; vestía ropas de camuflaje y cargaba un arco y flecha en la espalda. Cuando le dijo a los científicos del Reino Malvado sobre su hallazgo, ellos lo enviaron de vuelta para que invetigara el origen de la escala y las huellas misteriosas. El cazador regresó más tarde a la cascada. Esta vez, Nikala había olvidado cerrar la cascada. El cazador la atravesó y vio los animales raros y eldragón color de rosa. The hunter went back and told the scientists about the rare animals and the pink dragon. The scientists wanted to capture the animals and the pink dragon so they could steal their magic powers even if it meant killing them. The scientists told the hunter to go get the animals and the dragon and bring them back. The hunter’s idea was to build a trap.
El cazador llegó al castillo y le contó a los científicos sobre los animales raros y el dragón rosado. Los científicos querían capturar a los animales y al dragón rosado para robar sus poderes mágicos, aunque eso significaba matarlos. Los científicos ordenaron al cazador que capturara a los animales y al dragón. La idea del cazador fue construir una trampa.
Nikala as Shell, the dragon, had used her magic powers to teleport to the castle where the scientists worked in the Evil Kingdom. She listened to what the scientists were saying about the animals and heard about the trap the hunter was planning to build. She teleported back through the waterfall and told the rare animals what she had learned. The rare animals decided to go through the waterfall into the forest, find the trap and trick the hunter into falling into his own trap.
Nikala como Shell, el dragón, utilizó sus poderes mágicos para teletransportarse al castillo donde los científicos trabajaban en el Reino Malvado. Ella escuchó lo que los científicos planeaban hacer con los animales y la trampa que el cazador iba a construir. Ella se teletransportó de regreso a la cascada y les dijo a los animales lo que había escuchado. Los animales raros decidieron a salir por la cascada hacia al bosque, encontrar la trampa y engañar al cazador para que cayera en su propia trampa.

The hunter went into the forest in front of the waterfall, dug a deep hole, covered it with branches and leaves and waited for the animals to come through the waterfall to search for food. Then, hunter disguised himself by wearing a bunny suit and hiding in the trees near the trap.
El cazador estaba en el bosque frente a la cascada, excavado un hoyo profundo. Lo cubrió con ramas y hojas, y esperó hasta que los animales salieran por la cascada para buscar comida. Después, el cazador se disfrazó de conejito y se escondió en los árboles cerca de la trampa.
However, the animals had already come through the waterfall and were hiding while the hunter made the trap and hid. The animals and Nikala came out of hiding and stood near the trap. When the hunter ran out to push the animals into the trap, they stepped aside so the hunter fell into his own trap.
Sin embargo, los animales ya habían salido por la cascada y desde un lugar oculto vieron al cazador construir la trampa y esconderse. Los animales y Nikala salieron de su lugar oculto y se pararon al lado de la trampa. The hunter shouted to the animals and Nikala, “Please, please help me!” but they moved away to talk about what they should do. The hunter yelled louder, “Help me!” A tiger, who lived in the forest, had heard the hunter yelling and came to see what was happening. The tiger came closer and closer to the trap.
El cazador les gritó a los animales y Nikala, “Por favor, por favor, ¡ayúdenme!” pero ellos se fueron a planificar lo que debían hacer. Just as the tiger started to leap into the trap and get the hunter, Nikala turned into her dragon form and scooped up the hunter. Shell took the hunter back through the waterfall along with the rare animals, shouted, “Cascada” and the waterfall closed leaving the tiger to walk away back into the forest. The hunter was so grateful to the dragon for rescuing him that his heart began to grow and he decided to tell Nikala his secret. The hunter told her he was trying to trap her and the rare animals for the scientists. Nikala decided to tell him her secret too. “I am Shell, the dragon. I can speak to humans and all animals. I hold all the hope and love in the world.”When the hunter found out that the dragon was Nikala and that Nikala could talk to animals and to humans, he realized that the scientists couldn’t trap Nikala or the rare animals. If they did, the world would turn into a dark and gloomy place. The hunter helped Nikala come up with a plan to stop the scientists.
Ya se preparaba para saltar, cuando Nikala se
convirtió en dragón y agarró al cazador. Shell y los animales raros llevaron al cazador a su mundo detrás de la cascada. Gritaron, “¡Cascada!” y la cascada se cerró dejando al tigre afuera en el bosque. El cazador estaba tan agradecido de que el dragón lo había rescatado, que su corazón empezó a crecer y decidió contar su secreto. El cazador dijo que intentaba atrapar a Nikala y a los animales raros para los científicos. Nikala decidió a contarle su secreto también. “Yo soy Shell, el dragón. Then Nikala and Sam, the hunter, went together to talk to the scientists. Nikala told the scientists, “Revenge and killing are not the way to get magical powers. The hunter got the scientists to agree that Nikala couldn’t be captured because she held hope and love for the world. Nikala went back to the waterfall and told the rare animals the great news! The scientists, the hunter, Nikala and the rare animals now live in peace and harmony
Después, Nikala y Sam, el cazador, fueron juntos para hablar con los científicos. Nikala les dijo, “La venganza y asesinato no son la forma para obtener poderes mágicos. El cazador logró que los científicos estuvieran de acuerdo en que Nikala no podía ser capturada porque ella tenía toda la esperanza y el amor del mundo. Nikala regresó a la cascada y les contó a los animales raros las buenas noticias. Los científicos, el cazador, Nikala y los animales raros ahora viven en paz y harmonía.
