2027 Barfoot & Thompson Bay of Plenty 5 Course Classic Monday 18 – Friday 22 January 2027 The Barfoot & Thompson Bay of Plenty 5 Course Classic enters an exciting new era in 2027 with Fairview Golf & Country Club joining the tournament’s iconic five-course line-up. Fairview joins Mount Golf Club, Omokoroa Golf Club, Omanu Golf Club, and Tauranga Golf Club, adding another outstanding championship venue to one of New Zealand’s largest and longest-running multi-course golf tournaments. Celebrating its 32nd year in 2027, the Classic continues its proud tradition of bringing golfers together from throughout New Zealand and around the world, creating lasting friendships and unforgettable golfing experiences. Each January, more than 350 golfers gather in the beautiful Bay of Plenty to experience five championship courses in five days. The Tournament Experience five championship golf courses over five exciting days. • Players will compete in an individual Stableford competition with handicaps updated daily under the World Handicap System. • Daily prizes are awarded at each course, with overall tournament prizes presented across multiple men’s and women’s handicap divisions at Friday’s Prize Giving. • The tournament field is limited to the first 360 entries received. • Players are allocated to one of three playing rotations and will play every host course during the week. Travelling companions can request to play together by nominating their group when entering.
