Inaugural Auction Celebration d

We are honored to welcome you to The Inaugural Kentucky Bourbon Country Auction

A celebration where heritage meets hospitality, and where Kentucky’s finest spirit, bourbon fuels an even greater cause. Just as Florida is known for its lifestyle of sunshine and beaches, Nashville for its country music, and Napa for its wine, Kentucky is defined by the bourbon lifestyle—an enduring symbol and a powerful galvanizing lightning rod for our state and our country. This valuable lifestyle is exported around the country and world daily and is worthy not only of celebration this evening but also of growth and protection for our great city and state.

Our deepest thanks to the distilleries, donors, sponsors, artisans, and volunteers whose vision and generosity made the Kentucky Bourbon Country Auction and Celebration possible. Your contributions—of time, talent, and treasured barrels and lots—are the foundation of this remarkable event. To our bidders and guests, thank you for embracing this auction with the same enthusiasm and heart that have made the Bourbon the “Native American Spirit” and solidifying the KBCA as an enduring symbol of philanthropic excellence. Your support elevates this gathering beyond a celebration, transforming it into a powerful force for good and affecting real change in our community and investing in our military families through our beneficiary and partner, the Bob Woodruff Foundation.

Finally, thank you for believing in Kentucky bourbon, not only as a world-class spirit, but as a vehicle for community, connection, and impact. We raise a glass to each of you with gratitude and pride.

Cheers to bourbon, to generosity, to our rich history, and to the future we are building together.

Thank you,

Welcome to the Kentucky Bourbon Country Auction and Celebration!

Few things bring people together like a shared purpose. Here, in Kentucky, that purpose is often discovered around a glass of bourbon.

On behalf of the Bob Woodruff Foundation and as a partner of the inaugural Kentucky Bourbon Country Auction and Celebration, I’m honored to welcome you to this exciting weekend. I’m thrilled that, together, we’re kicking off the 2026 bourbon season by supporting the men and women who have served our country.

Every ticket purchased helps support the vital services we invest in for our nation’s military community, from mental health care, housing support, and employment services to legal aid and disaster relief for those who need it most. This is why our partnership with the Kentucky Bourbon Country Auction and Celebration means so much to us.

Our mission is personal at the Bob Woodruff Foundation. My family and I experienced the long road of recovery after I was wounded in Iraq. We came to understand the importance of strong, reliable support systems for service members, veterans, and their families.

In the 20 years since my wife, Lee, and brother, Dave, created the Foundation we’ve funded $189 million in programs and

services that help ensure our nation’s heroes have stable, successful futures. We’re proud that 86 cents of every dollar we raise goes directly to support for our heroes.

This event proves that celebration and purpose can go hand in hand.

I invite you to enjoy the experience, savor the craftsmanship, and remember why we’re here. We can raise a glass and make a difference for the heroes who have given so much for all of us.

Thank you for being part of this extraordinary weekend.

All to benefit the Greater Great.
