MOMENTUM IS BUILDING

February is where the year really starts to take shape, and January gave us some very encouraging signs. We’re seeing activity pick up across the board, and more importantly, we’re seeing real results from agents who are staying consistent and intentional with their business.

Social media is converting. Open houses are driving real conversations again. Farming is producing both listings and long-term pipelines. The numbers are moving in the right direction, and the common denominator we’re seeing is simple: the agents benefiting the most right now are the ones leaning heavily into their activity.

This market is rewarding visibility, follow-up, and consistency. The agents showing up every day, staying in front of their database, and executing on proven systems are seeing momentum build faster than those waiting for conditions to improve. January didn’t just feel better; it produced better outcomes.

As we look ahead, all signs point to a busy spring and summer. That means now is the time to sharpen your systems, clean up your processes, and make sure you’re positioned to handle more opportunities without added stress. The agents who prepare now will be the ones who can say yes more often later.

While we’re excited about the pace of the market, we’re also intentional about staying connected. We’re looking forward to catching up with everyone at our February 13 Bingo Party. It’s a chance to step away from the hustle for a bit, reconnect, and enjoy time together before things really ramp up.

ABOUT TRENT BOARNET

I grew up in New Braunfels, Texas, in a family where real estate was more than a profession. It was a form of service. Both of my parents were real estate brokers, and from an early age I learned that this business is ultimately about people, trust, and showing up for the community you live in. Those early lessons shaped not only why I chose real estate, but how I have built my career

I was licensed in 2006 and entered the business with enthusiasm, along with a steep learning curve. One of the hardest parts for me early on was learning how to deal with rejection. Whether it was losing a listing, hearing no, or watching someone choose another agent, rejection felt personal at first Over time, I realized it was not a verdict on my value It was simply part of the process. Learning to move forward with confidence and consistency became a turning point in my career.

From the beginning, I chose to build my business around relationships rather than transactions I focused on listening, educating my clients, and advocating for them at every step. Instead of chasing quick wins, I committed to earning trust over time. That long-term mindset has made all the difference. For the past six years, one hundred percent of my business has come from referrals from past clients and agents in other markets. That did not happen overnight

It is the result of showing up consistently, staying connected after the transaction closes, and treating every relationship as something worth protecting Many of my clients have become friends, and their referrals are a reminder that how we treat people truly matters.

I work across all price points, neighborhoods, and communities. What I love most about San Antonio is its diversity, not just in homes, but in people and stories. I am especially passionate about working with the LGBTQ community and am an active member of the local LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce and the Keller Williams Rainbow Network, supporting connection and growth within this community

Beyond working with clients, I truly enjoy teaching and mentoring within my brokerage. I love sharing what I have learned over almost two decades in the business and supporting newer agents as they build confidence and find their footing. When I mentor, I often remind agents that rejection does not mean failure. It means you are in the game.

After nearly twenty years in real estate, I am still motivated by connection, service, and growth Relationships have built my business, sustained it, and made it meaningful. For me, that is the kind of career worth having.

I oversee the daily operations of our market center, keeping systems, staff, and processes running smoothly so our agents and leadership can focus on growth, clients, and culture. My background includes being an Army Special Forces wife, business owner, and serving as General Manager for the U.S. Embassy in Lima, Peru, where I was honored as General Manager of the Year worldwide with a trip to Budapest. I thrive in organized chaos, love building systems that work, and enjoy helping people solve problems. When I’m not at the office, I’m spending time with my family, enjoying ranch life, or planning the next project. Fun fact: I’ve jumped out of an airplane twice, and everyone calls me Jeanny.

I serve as the Director of Education and Recruiting and Executive Assistant to Grant Lopez, supporting our agents through training, growth, and strong leadership. One of my proudest accomplishments has been earning my real estate license and completing TRLP, which strengthened my foundation in this industry. My favorite part of my role is helping agents build confidence and a solid start to their real estate careers while forming meaningful connections along the way. When I’m not at the office, I’m usually spending time with my family, training my dogs, cheering at softball games, or relaxing with Lego builds and puzzles. And while most people reach for coffee, I prefer tea!

I serve as the Executive Assistant to our Broker of Record, working closely with Garret to help support our agents and keep licensing and compliance on track. I guide agents through exactly which classes they need so there are no surprises when renewal time comes around. Before this role, I worked at the front desk, as Tech Coordinator, and as an Agent Services Coordinator, which gives me a well-rounded understanding of how our market center operates. When I’m not at the office, I’m usually spending time with my little besties, my niece and nephew, and enjoying family time. I was born and raised in Dallas, which makes me a Cowboys fan by default, and I’ve also raised two bunnies and now co-parent three hermit crabs with my niece.
