About Me

Nobu Ito brings a unique and trained, people-focused perspective to the real estate profession. “I was a social worker for 20 years,” she says, describing how over the years she had always bought, fixed up, and owned homes, even completing construction management and contracting courses to learn how to build homes from the ground up. She eventually took real estate classes so she could make informed decisions on her investments and construction projects. But when she found herself sharing knowledge with others, she decided it was time to become a licensed real estate broker.

Nobu immediately became rookie of the year at KW East Bay and a top-producing agent the next year, before joining Keller Williams San Francisco/Oakland in 2016, where she is the top individual producer in the market center. Now Nobu has created a thriving real estate practice driven by her goal of making everyone she works with feel special. “I love connecting with people. Real estate folds all my skills into one, from contracting and construction management to people skills, listening, and negotiating, which is so important in this business.” She takes her time meeting every person’s individual needs with her ability to listen to what they say, understand what they want, and incorporate that into the house and lifestyle they are seeking.

Client Testimonials

“Nobu cares deeply about what we're looking for and doesn't push us unnecessarily in the process. She is a calm source of confidence when going through a stressful home buying ordeal. We appreciated her help each step of the way.”

- Andrew Huang

“Nobu is an ethical, honest and highly skilled real estate agent who is willing to work hard to get the job done right. If you want to purchase a home and have an opportunity to work with Nobu, I highly recommend you do so now. Nobu is respected in the community, is a fair negotiator and provides education along the way. My price point may be lower than many in the Bay Area, but it didn’t matter to Nobu. A conversation with Nobu helped change my perspective on my financial readiness for home ownership. Nobu worked with me through the Below Market Rate (BMR) program and within a year of working together helped me land a property without BMR supports in a place that meets all of my needs. Thank you Nobu. I’m grateful YOU were my agent and plan to use your services for any future moves.”

“I can't imagine ever going to another realtor! We were fortunate to meet Nobu when she helped her clients sell us their house, and we never considered anyone else when we were ready to sell that same house 4 years later. She is smart, compassionate, supportive yet willing to give advice based on years of experience when asked. Both my husband and I adore her, never doubting her integrity or professional competence throughout some challenges with our buyer. You can't go wrong with Nobu.”

3 Keys to Hitting Your Homeownership Goals in 2024

If buying or selling a home is your goal for 2024, it’s important to understand today’s housing market, know your why, and work with industry experts to bring your homeownership vision for the new year into focus.

Over the last year, the economy had a big impact on the housing market, and likely on your wallet too. That’s why it’s critical to have a clear picture of not just the market today, but also on what you want out of it when you buy or sell a home. Danielle Hale, Chief Economist at Realtor.com, explains:

“The key to making a good decision in this challenging housing market is to be laser focused on what you need now and in the years ahead, so that you can stay in your home long enough that buying is a sound financial decision.”

Here are a few things to think through as you define your goals for 2024.
