Message from the Headteacher Dear Roding Valley High School Community

2nd 3532

COn Tuesday 11th November Roding Valley held a whole school Remembrance assembly, themed around different perspectives and kindness. We were delighted to present our brilliant and well deserved, year 7 house competition winner, Aisha Hussain ( shared below) and shared 2 minutes of silent reflection. A Horse’s Tale by Aisha Hussain.

As I mentioned in the previous Parent Bulletin, we will be changing our school management information system. To ensure there will be a smooth transition our support staff will be undergoing training during the school day to support this important and exciting move. This may mean that the response to your phone calls or emails may take a little longer than normal over the next few weeks. At the beginning of the academic year, we introduced a rolling programme of Focus Groups using different students each week. This gives us the opportunity to discuss with students their views on important topics that have an impact on their daily school life. Most recently I met with a group to talk about contextual safeguarding in the local community.
