The dedication of our Year 11 and 13 students was evident during the Easter revision sessions. It was inspiring to see over 130 students attending daily, engaging in various subjects to prepare for their upcoming exams. This level of commitment is commendable and sets a positive tone for the challenges ahead. For these students, GCSE and A-Level exams are fast approaching. We wish them the very best as they enter this crucial period. Parents of these students can expect more information about intervention classes and May half-term revision sessions in due course. The dedication shown by all our students over the past few months has been truly remarkable. We look forward to seeing their hard work reflected in their upcoming exams. Before the break, our Year 12 students had the opportunity to visit the University of Southampton, broadening their horizons and exploring potential future pathways. Additionally, our Year 9 students embarked on an exciting ski trip to Italy, which proved to be an enjoyable and enriching experience for all involved. Trips and events such as this are a crucial component of our enrichment offer and I would like to thank the five members of staff who attended the ski trip over Easter for their time and effort in preparing the trip and ensuring a lot of fun was had. This week, we see our Duke of Edinburgh participants undertaking their Bronze training expedition. This programme continues to offer valuable life skills and experiences to our students and is absolutely loved by our students. No doubt there will be a few sore legs on Monday.

Looking ahead, we eagerly anticipate the Year 7 Jack Petchey Speak Out competition next week, showcasing the public speaking talents of our younger students. This will take place after their weekly assembly and will be watched by the whole year group as well as the Extended Leadership Team. Good luck to all those who are taking part.
