Our History

OUR HISTORY

In 1986, Fellowship Christian School was founded on a deep conviction to offer a Christ-centered education that equips students to impact the world for Jesus Christ. Located at Fellowship Bible Church with just a handful of learners in that first year, we trusted God’s leading and remained committed to spiritual formation and academic excellence.

Over the years, our school grew steadily, and in 1996, we began the process to become fully independent from Fellowship Bible Church. In 2001, Fellowship Christian School received its own 501c3 non-profit designation, and we opened our first building. Between 2008 and 2012, we expanded classrooms, labs, and gathering spaces to meet the needs of our growing community. Then in 2017, we opened our high school building, completing our transition to a fully self-contained campus.

Today, our facilities reflect more than just bricks and mortar, testifying to God’s faithfulness and our desire to nurture spiritual growth alongside academic rigor. We are proud of how far we’ve come and excited for the future as we continue advancing our Christ-centered mission together.

Our Challenge

Since our beginning 40 years ago to today, Fellowship’s Kingdom impact has expanded to serving approximately 1,050 students on our 29-acre campus. With this opportunity for greater impact comes new, unique challenges with our facilities across various programs. Most notably, the addition of a full-service kitchen would allow for more and considerably better nutritional lunch offerings, ensuring our students have healthy food to fuel their bodies as they learn and grow. Our current spaces have reached capacity. Additional space will provide greater opportunity for more personalized attention that defines our approach and provides dedicated space for specialized services like counseling and Student Academic Support (SAS). Lastly, more classroom spaces allow all grade levels to have the ideal student body size and will benefit our culture and programs.

These challenges aren’t just logistical—they affect the heart of our mission: to provide an exceptional, Christ-centered education that equips students spiritually, academically, and personally. The need is urgent. We are committed to restoring balance, capacity, and excellence to every program by investing in strategic facility enhancements that support every student, every day.

Our Vision

We want every student to experience the tailored, intentional, and transformational approach that defines a Fellowship education. Our campus limitations may be real, but they have only sharpened our vision for a dynamic hub of Christ-centered learning and spiritual growth. This vision goes well beyond bricks and mortar; it’s about crafting an environment where every student is empowered to discover their unique gifts and purpose in God’s plan. With an expanded footprint and enhanced facilities, we’ll deepen our covenant commitment and offer even more personalized mentoring, service-learning experiences, and spiritual formation for our students.

Picture students gathering in a full-service dining hall that anchors our community, nourishing them physically, socially, and spiritually. Imagine cutting-edge classrooms alive with critical thinking and creativity; envision the inviting lounges and collaborative spaces where lifelong friendships form and faith deepens in everyday interactions.

This is not wishful thinking, but a practical, achievable plan made possible by the generosity and partnership of our Fellowship family. By working together on thoughtful, targeted solutions, we will expand our facilities and enrich our programs. In doing so, we will more fully deliver on our calling to nurture spirit, mind, and body, and equip students to impact the world for Jesus Christ.

Our Solution

Through the IGNITE Campaign, we will add a new three-level building adjacent to the current Elementary/Middle School building that will house a dedicated dining facility, additional classrooms, counseling offices, Student Academic Support (SAS) space, a dedicated space for music and arts programs, a school store, and additional multi-use spaces. This expansion is a significant step in addressing our challenges and allows us to better serve today’s students and prepare us for future Kingdom impact.

In addition to addressing academic space by adding ten new classrooms, this plan significantly elevates student life with the construction of an on-campus, full-service kitchen and dining hall. Through a partnership with Sage Dining, every student will now enjoy whole-food menus, scratch-cooked meals, nutrition education, and accommodations for dietary needs every day. Student-athletes will benefit from performance-optimized meals and clear nutrition labeling.

There will be a new standout commons area that will also serve as a flexible, multi-purpose event space with wraparound terraces, providing environments for faculty meetings, student gatherings, and community events. For visiting families and guests, this project enhances the campus arrival experience with a grand staircase entry and upgraded event accommodations, elevating our guests’ experience and hospitality.

Additional enhancements include:

• New dedicated counseling offices, an elementary administration suite, and additional elementary and middle school bathrooms

• Improved school security and reception layout, offering a more personal and secure welcome

• A more functionally beautiful space specifically designed for elementary school music and media center

• Dedicated space for a school store, complete with a space to try on uniforms and branded merchandise

• Classroom space for 4th and 5th grade and a rooftop terrace for class gardens and special events

• Additional dedicated classroom space for middle school, reducing reshuffling year over year

• Expanded meeting rooms and shared spaces that support and enhance school group activities

These additions and enhancements not only relieve current space constraints and eliminate reliance on shared spaces, but they also create a unified, modernized campus that serves both immediate and future needs. By establishing clear program pipelines and allowing departments to operate with stability, we are creating a learning environment that enables excellence at every level.

But more than anything, this Campaign goes beyond bricks and mortar. It’s about creating an environment where every student is empowered to discover their unique gifts and purpose in God’s plan.

Furthermore, we aim not only to address immediate needs but also to pursue broad programmatic development that deepens our students’ faith and expands our educational offerings. Our goal is to activate solutions that will position Fellowship Christian School to provide a remarkable, Christ-centered education for generations to come. Our solutions are designed to expand our overall capacity for education and programs, enhance the student experience, and position Fellowship for a thriving future.

Your Impact

IGNITE is one of the biggest initiatives in Fellowship’s history. Because of that, we are prioritizing this as the primary ask for our community over the next year.

The Annual Fund will continue to be Fellowship’s anchor fundraising appeal each year and it will continue in the 2026-2027 school year to support critical needs that help create the excellent Fellowship experience for our students and families - support for our teachers through professional development, financial aid for covenant families, facilities and security, continued financial stewardship through debt reduction, as well as funding for our PTF volunteers that bless our families, faculty and staff. There are seasons though where we have extraordinary needs and this is one of those moments.

$26.8 Million : IGNITE CAMPAIGN GOAL

$26 Million: Dining Hall & Building Addition

$800,000: 2026-2027 Annual Fund

Fellowship is thrilled to announce that we have completed a successful first phase of the IGNITE Campaign. This is the result of incredible, generous early support from Fellowship families, as well as internal resources from the school, enabled by thoughtful financial stewardship. We now have an opportunity to complete this effort together. Doing so will require gift commitments at multiple levels.

The following gift table is an example of the giving levels required to complete the IGNITE Campaign. To that end, and to mitigate the burden of Fellowship carrying long-term debt for construction as commitments are fulfilled, gifts of $30,000 or more may be given over a one to three year period, and we ask that gifts below $30,000 be fulfilled within the 2026-2027 school year.

As we enter the next phase of IGNITE, Fellowship would be grateful if you would prayerfully consider supporting this transformative effort for our school in addition to your annual support of Fellowship.

Your generosity and involvement through the IGNITE Campaign blazes the path for us to achieve our vision - together, we can create a beacon of faith, excellence, and purpose that will shine brightly for years to come.

The IGNITE Campaign is about creating an environment where every student is empowered to discover their unique gifts and purpose in God’s plan.
