Cherkassy is my native city. It is situated in the center of Ukraine. The city stands on Dnipro River. So, it's a nice place for summer vacation. There are many beaches and places of rest. If you like animals, you can visit the Zoo in Cherkassy. It's not very big but it has a great variety of animal species. There many museums and theatres, parks and churches. Everyone will find something he likes. If you go to Cherkassy, one place you must definitely visit is the Buddhist Temple, which is called the White Lotus. It is the largest temple of its kind in Ukraine. It is a great place to visit because it is so different to other tourist attractions. Excursion is held every Sunday at 2 o’clock.

I thought Meadwater Campsite was a fantastic place! I've spend a whole week there last summer and just loved it! The campsite is near Red Wood forest, that is the perfect place for hiking. You can get there easily on foot. It's a twenty-minute walk. Everybody who works at the campsite is helpful and friendly. I thought Green Forest Campsite was a very nice place. I've spend ten days there last summer. It was great. The campsite is in the forest not far from the river.
