THE PUZZLE LADY, SEASON 1

If you’ve been missing The Marlow Murder Club, I highly recommend The Puzzle Lady, a new series following crossword writer Cora Felton as she gets accidentally entwined in crime solving when a crossword clue is left on a body. Actress Phyllis Logan is wonderful as Cora. You may remember her from her role as Mrs. Hughes in Downton Abbey, and in this show she’s delightfully quirky and endlessly watchable as she fearlessly sticks her nose into other people’s business in pursuit of her case. The Puzzle Lady premieres on Thursday, February 19, on KQED 9, but Passport members can watch the whole season that night—perfect if you can’t wait a whole week to see what happens next!

Rocco Schiavone: Ice Cold Murders, Season 6

An unorthodox police commissioner finds himself far from home when he’s transferred to a mountain station. In Italian with English subtitles. Watch exclusively with Passport starting Friday, February 20.

The Porter, Season 1

A story of empowerment and idealism, this series highlights the moment railway workers joined together to form the world’s first Black union. Streaming now on Passport.

THE SUI GENERIS 20TH CENTURY WOMAN

Barbara Jordan was indisputably a force to be reckoned with. The lawyer, educator and former U.S. representative’s intersectional identity gets dissected in the new Independent Lens documentary The Inquisitor. From the revision of the Voting Rights Act to the 1974 impeachment hearings of President Nixon, Jordan made an impact. Recognized by her peers in both political parties alike for her undeniably exceptional political oratory skills, she was nicknamed “inquisitor.” But little did everyone know the battle she quietly fought in secret. Find out more about The Inquisitor on Monday, February 23, at 10pm on KQED 9
