And she had a long, hooked nose that reached down to her chin.
A mala dlhý zahnutý nos až po bradu.
She muttered to herself.
Zamrmlala si pre seba.
She took the nightingale and carried it away.
Chytila slávika a odniesla ho vo svojej ruke preč.
Joringel could say nothing.
Joringel nemohol nič povedať.
He couldn't even move.
Nemohol sa zo svojho miesta ani len pohnúť.
The nightingale was gone forever.
Slávik bol nenávratne preč.
Finally, the woman returned and said in a harsh voice:
Napokon sa žena vrátila a povedala drsným hlasom:
"Good evening, Joringel.
„Dobrý večer, Joringel.
When the moon shines, you will be free."
Keď zasvieti mesiac, budeš znovu voľný.“
The moon did shine, and Joringel was free again.
Vtedy zasvietil mesiac a Joringel bol znovu slobodný.
He knelt before the old woman and begged her to give him back his Jorinda.
Kľakol si na kolená pred starou ženou a veľmi ju prosil, aby mu vrátila jeho Jorindu.
But she told him he would never have her back.
Ale ona mu povedala, že už ju nikdy nedostane späť.
Then she left.
Potom odišla.
He called after her, wept and lamented, but all in vain.
On za ňou volal, plakal a nariekal, ale všetko zbytočne.
