From a delicious breakfast to a lavish dinner: KonneKt's kitchen team is ready to surprise you. Enjoy our diverse selection of food and drinks and the hospitality of our team while overlooking our beautiful woodland garden.

KonneKt is the meeting place at the heart of the hotel. You'll not only sense global influences and cultural similarities here, but you'll also see them reflected in the unique décor. Just look at the unique collections of materials and souvenirs, such as Picasso's self-portrait, which resembles an African tribal mask. Or the colorful embroidery from Peru, which bears a surprising resemblance to the Marken traditional costume.

We draw our culinary inspiration from afar, and our ingredients are preferably sourced locally. We call this conscious choices. For people and the environment. Our menu is therefore carefully curated with a strong focus on local produce and the ability to adapt to the seasons. We also accommodate food allergies during our main meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

By purchasing responsibly, we try to minimize our environmental impact. We strive for sustainable, high-quality, and healthy food, but above all: simply delicious food with a global twist.

Breakfast

A good breakfast is the perfect start to a successful day. At KonneKt restaurant, bar, and lounge, we welcome you every morning with an extensive breakfast buffet packed with delicious, fresh products. From oven-fresh bread and savory spreads to sweet pastries and hot dishes: there's something for everyone. You can also create your own favorite combination of yogurt, granola, superfoods, and fruit at the yogurt bar.

But breakfast at KonneKt is more than just delicious food and drinks. It's also a place where you can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and where sustainability is a top priority. We use a variety of organic products, including TLANT granola, jam, and crackers. So breakfast at KonneKt isn't just delicious; it's also a conscious choice for a great start to your day.

Lunch

At KonneKt, you can enjoy a leisurely lunch in a charming setting. The restaurant offers a beautiful view of the green woodland garden, where you can also sit on the sunny terrace in good weather.

The lunch buffet is filled with fresh and luxurious sandwiches. At the salad bar, you'll find delicious salads and dressings, and you can even create your own favorite yogurt. Fancy a hot meal? Then be sure to stop by the front cooking area, where our chefs prepare hot dishes with passion and creativity.

Naturally, we work as much as possible with local, sustainable, and socially responsible seasonal products. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available.

For guests who are short on time during their business meeting, we also offer the option of booking a lunch break. This is a convenient lunch served in or near the meeting room.

A meeting or event can be quite intense. A moment to relax and enjoy a delicious snack can work wonders. At KonneKt, we understand better than anyone how important it is to take good care of our guests. That's why we've put together a selection of snacks for in-between meals.

Invite your guests for a snack at our stylish Bar KonneKt or surprise them during their break with an energizing healthy break. Your guests are also welcome at Bar KonneKt for a closing reception with bitterballen (Dutch snacks) and drinks. Our chefs prepare the most delicious snacks, whether you prefer a global snack or a classic bitterbal. Vegetarian options are also available. KonneKt offers the perfect setting to gather and enjoy an informal break.

The walking dinner is a unique culinary journey around the world for groups of 25 or more. This dinner is suitable for an informal reception setting, such as a networking event or party.

The walking dinner consists of several handy dishes that together form a complete meal. Our chefs draw inspiration from various international cuisines and prefer to work with seasonal ingredients. A variety of hot and cold dishes are served, followed by a delicious and complementary dessert.

KonneKt Outdoor

Our woodland garden is the perfect location to surprise your guests with a culinary outdoor experience. Our chefs create a menu using local and seasonal ingredients.

KonneKt Outdoor includes small appetizers, soup, fresh bread with dips, salads, and a variety of vegetable, fish, and meat dishes. And of course, there's a delicious dessert.

Groups of up to 40 people can actively use the barbecues themselves. For larger groups, our chefs will prepare the barbecue dishes.

The selection in this food book has been carefully curated with local, seasonal produce. This ensures flavor and quality while minimizing our environmental impact.

We're proud to collaborate with passionate suppliers who understand and support our ambitions for culinary and conscious cooking. Each supplier is unique: their own product and their own story. But each is passionate about what they do and cares about the world.

Farmfields

Good meat from good soil

Good soil is the source of Farmfields' veal. The land the calves graze on is their own pastures and land owned by Natuurmonumenten, Geldersch Landschap, and the Hoge Veluwe National Park. The crops grown on this same land are used in the calves' organic feed.

In winter, the calves have plenty of space and freedom in freerange barns with soft straw flooring. In summer, they graze freely outdoors and feast on organic feed.

Cheese Fort Amsterdam

Artisanal cheeses from a historic fort

Rene Koelman is one of the few true cheese affineurs in the NetherlandsandoneofthetwoMaîtreFromageratKaasfort.

Having started with his Burgundian Lifestyle shops, he moved to his dream location, Fort Zuidwijkermeer in Assendelft, in 2021. A beautiful location. The historic layout of the fort, with its small spaces (the old barracks) and thick walls, makes it perfect for creating a miniature climate in each room. This allows the red mold, goat cheese, blue mold, and hard cheeses, for example, to maturetoperfectionattheirownpace.

Schulp

Organic fruit juice

Drinking Schulp means tasting fruit. As fruit connoisseurs, they stand on the shoulders of four generations of Schulp fruit growers. Thanks to that experience, they create deliciously pure, naturallycloudyjuicedayin,dayout.

At the heart of the juicery is a belt press. The resulting pure juice goes straight into the bottle, without any additives. Schulp primarily uses locally sourced Dutch fruit for its juice. Pressing andbottlingtakeplaceon-site.

They take the leftover juice from the squeezed fruit to their neighboring farmers, who use it as healthy feed for their cows. This way, they limit their food miles and support the fruit growing sectorintheirowncountry.

Livar

Culinary pork with an eye for animal welfare

Livar (Limburg Monastery Pig) stands for purity and passion with asocialvalueforpeopleandtheenvironment.

The purity of life with a passion for the craft. With respect for people, animals, and the environment, Livar pigs deliver pork of the highest flavor and quality. With their curly tails rooting in the Limburgsoil,theyenjoyregionallygrowngrains.

Livar pigs are raised according to a fair concept, with the small scale and charm of the past and current guidelines. And you can tasteit!

Chef's farm

Saving land through vertical farming

Chef's Farm is a so-called vertical farm. By growing their herbs and flowers vertically rather than horizontally, they save a lot of land.

Their Amsterdam location boasts 24 floors, making it 24 times more space-efficient. They can give all this space back to nature, where trees absorb CO2, leguminous plants fix nitrogen, biodiversity can flourish, and ecological balance is restored.

Thanks to advanced techniques, Chef's Farm is able to determine the exact amount of water and nutrients each plant needs. This is much more efficient than conventional cultivation. And no seeds are wasted, because every planted seed produces an edible result.

Arenosa

Vegetables from organic open ground

In one of the newest areas of the Netherlands, in Lelystad, Jan van Geffen grows organic open-field vegetables. These include parsnips, Jerusalem artichokes, salsify, parsley root, burdock root, and kohlrabi.

Jan rotates his crops so that a crop is grown on the same plot of land only once every six years. To keep the soil healthy, he grows green manures like clover. Green manures fix nitrogen from the air in the soil, which stimulates soil life.

Orange hen (Oranjehoen)

The most animal-friendly barn in the Netherlands

Orange hens have a good life. They have the same density per square meter as organic chickens. This gives them plenty of room to roam freely. They also have easy access to the covered outdoor run,evenwhenthey'reconfinedtothecoop.

The company operates according to the principles of the Dutch Society for the Protection of Animals and the Better Life quality mark.
