Vol. 19 Issue 6-7 Hey Kokua! I hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far! It’s so nice to have some sunshine and warm weather, and to be able to be outside. I hope you are taking advantage of it!

As an agency, we have been working extra hard to help you fill open shifts and get people up and delegated, and it’s starting to pay off! Thank you to everyone for their flexibility and patience and for going the extra mile to make sure that the people we support are well cared for and living a life they find meaningful.

Thanks Sean, for the ice cream on the 4th!

Guess what else is back inperson?...hummingbird! Sessions were held this month, in-person, for the first time since March 2020!, as part of the Olympia Armory Arts Intervention.

Julie Clark, who after much hard work and advocacy has been appointed to the state Developmental Disabilities Council hummingbird studio continues to work on and expand inand will be continuing her efforts to help to its new location, on 4th Ave., across from New Moon Caadvocate for better services and supports fé, inside the old Ben Moore’s restaurant.
