YOUTH SPORTS
Get ready to lace up (sneakers only!) and hit the pavement—YMCA Street Hockey powered by NHL STREET brings the excitement of hockey to the Y in a fun, fast-paced, and inclusive way. This program introduces youth to the game of hockey through street-style play that focuses on teamwork, skill development, and confidence—all without the ice.
In partnership with NHL STREET, participants will learn the fundamentals of hockey including stick handling, passing, shooting, and game play through age-appropriate drills and small-sided games. No prior hockey experience is required, and all skill levels are welcome. Our trained YMCA staff create a positive, encouraging environment where kids can stay active, build friendships, and fall in love with the game.

This 5-week camp delivers the critical performance training rarely found in standard programs, designed to give middle and high school athletes a competitive edge for the next level.
Participants will work through dynamic warm-ups, acceleration and top-end speed mechanics, lateral movement and change-of-direction drills, footwork and reaction training, and power-based plyometrics. Everything needed to improve explosiveness, speed, and injury prevention tailored for multi-sport demands.

This 5-week camp teaches weightlifting techniques designed to give middle and high school athletes a competitive edge on the field.
Participants will learn proper weightlifting techniques to improve their explosive power. We teach athletes how to be quicker, stronger, and more explosive so they can jump higher, run faster, and improve their athletic performance.
