Next Thursday, May 26, the opening of the exhibition Abstraktion will take place at 6:00 p. m. in the K&K Art Gallery.
The basic idea of the exhibition is to present a cross-section of the astonishing abstract artworks to a wider audience (shown for the first and only time in this combination). The event is thus a unique opportunity to explore those works of art. The art of abstraction is characterised by the use of colours, different shapes and stains, lines and structures to represent what’s invisible to the naked eye. It does not represent the pure reality (as it is in the case of realism), but rather as it appears to the Creator. Moreover, the finished work of art is subject to the prism of each individual recipient – therefore, experiencing abstraction is always associated with the opportunity to explore reality as it is in ourselves.
The exhibition can be admired until 9 June;
