Tri Together Challenge 2026 is an adventure triathlon set on the Isle of Purbeck, along the iconic Jurassic Coast. Taking on the three activity phases as a team, participants will cycle, paddle and hike together while raising vital funds for Kisharon Langdon.
The day begins with the Cycle phase: a 35km (22-mile) route ridden on provided hardtail mountain bikes. Starting in the picturesque village of Studland, the route heads out across Godlingston Heath, combining off-road riding on sandy trails and forest tracks. It then joins the road near Corfe Castle, where a series of longer climbs provides one of the main physical challenges of the day.
Next comes the Kayak phase - a 3km (2-mile) paddle on the sheltered waters of Studland Bay. This section offers a chance to regroup and enjoy stunning coastal scenery, with uninterrupted views of the iconic chalk stacks of Old Harry Rocks.
The final Hike phase is an 11km (7-mile) circular walk, taking in some of the finest viewpoints on the Jurassic Coast. From the panoramic heights of the Purbeck Ridge to an unforgettable descent past Old Harry Rocks from above, this leg provides a spectacular finale to the challenge.

Having crossed the solent on a morning FastCat out of Portsmouth Harbour, we will disembark at Ryde and roll along the UK’s oldest pier to start our 110km tour of the island. From there, we’ll make our way to Bembridge Harbour and tackle the island’s biggest hills before stopping for lunch. Post-refuelling, we head along the south coast via the Military Road with its incredible views over Tennyson Down and The Needles. At Yarmouth, we’ll ride along the beach, then take the floating bridge at Cowes, before winding our way back to Ryde and a quick hop back to the mainland.
With 1500m of climbing, it is a challenging ride, but this just adds to the group camaraderie and the sense of achievement at the end of a good day on the bike.
