From our Chief Executive and Co-Chairs
This year marks a transformative chapter in the Kisharon Langdon journey. Following the merger of Kisharon and Langdon nearly two years ago, we have united two proud legacies into one dynamic organisation, rooted in Jewish values and driven by a shared vision: to empower people with learning disabilities and autistic people to thrive.
The past 18 months have been defined by collaboration, innovation, and growth. We’ve harmonised our services, expanded our reach, and deepened our impact. From education and employment to supported living and community engagement, our teams have worked tirelessly to ensure continuity, quality, and care for every individual we support.
One of our proudest achievements has been the co-creation of our new organisational values: Respect, Integrity, Community, and Excellence, built by our staff, trustees, and people we support.
We’ve also launched new initiatives to improve outcomes, including enhanced training for staff, expanded digital access for service users, and stronger partnerships with families and local authorities.
We held our first annual dinner as Kisharon Langdon in January 2025, raising an incredible £2.2 million from our generous community. However, we continue to face challenges similar to the wider social care sector, including the impact of government increases to National Minimum Wage and Employee National Insurance Contributions, necessitating us to raise an additional £800,000 a year. We must now raise £4.6 million a year from our supporters to continue to provide our life-changing services.
To our dedicated staff, passionate volunteers, wise trustees, and generous supporters: thank you. As we have said before, Kisharon Langdon is more than a merger, it’s a movement. Together, we are building a future of inclusion, dignity, and opportunity for people we support.
As we look ahead, we remain committed to building a future where everyone is seen, heard, and supported to live a life of purpose.

Our mission is to offer outstanding life opportunities rooted in Jewish values, enabling people we support to live as independently as possible, reach their potential and contribute as equals in our community and beyond.

It’s hard to keep up with her busy schedule! The Friday Night Dinners, where Deena and her friends prepare and host Shabbat, are truly heartwarming. Kisharon Langdon’s support is invaluable. We couldn’t imagine this journey without them.
