SCHOLARSHIPS
Academic, Art, Design and Technology, Drama, Music and Sport scholarships are available for both day and boarding pupils for entry into Years 7, 9 and 12. John Wesley ‘All Round’ scholarships are also available to boarding pupils for entry into Years 7, 9 and 12 who are able to demonstrate a combination of academic and special talent ability. Candidates must apply before the relevant closing date and meet the criteria detailed in the Scholarship and Bursaries booklet available on our website. The number and size of awards are determined by the number and quality of applicants assessed. Scholarships attract an annual fee remission of £1500 and a grant of £500. Honorary scholarships will also be awarded to applicants who demonstrate considerable potential.
ASSESSMENT DAYS Applicants based overseas will be invited to sit assessment papers in English as an Additional Language, Maths and Non-Verbal Reasoning. These will be completed over the Autumn Term and will require invigilation by the pupil’s current school, the British Council or an Education Agent. Pupils will be invited to a virtual interview with a member of the School Senior Management Team.
BOARDING AT KINGSWOOD Kingswood has nearly 200 boarders, from Year 7 to Year 13 and from over 20 countries. We offer full, weekly and flexi-boarding but the majority of our boarders are full boarders, meaning that the school campus is busy and full of activities every day of the week.
