ELIGIBILITY Early assessment places are available for UK citizens, who are seeking to join Kingswood school in Year 9 as boarders, weekly boarders or flexi boarders. PROCESS Pupils will be assessed for offers of a place in the Spring term of Year 7, with offers made by the end of the Spring term. Pupils who have accepted a place in Year 9 and wish to be considered for an Academic scholarship, or Special Talent Award, in Art, Design and Technology, Drama, Music or Sport will be invited to assessment in February of Year 8. John Wesley ‘All Round’ scholarships may be awarded to those boarding pupils joining Year 9 and who are able to demonstrate a combination of academic and special talent ability and wider school involvement.

BURSARIES Means-tested bursaries are available which are awarded at the Headmaster’s discretion. They can be applied for alone, or in addition to a scholarship. HM FORCES AND FCDO DISCOUNTS Year 9 Upwards A reduction of up to 20% off the basic boarding fees will be allocate to each child of a family in receipt of the CEA.
