EDITORIAL. The hope expressed in our last issue has been realised, and after six years, which have seen great changes in the School, peace has returned to the world. With the post-war period begins a new epoch in the life of the Vigornian. The shortage of paper and continued prevalence of war-time conditions is indeed an obstacle; nevertheless we hope it will soon be possible to include once more some of our regular features of pre-war days. On looking through pre-war numbers of the Vigornian it is often possible to see quite a large amount of original matter, poetry and prose, serious and humorous, which is lacking at the present time. We feel that insufficient interest is being taken in our magazine, and therefore appeal for more and better contributions in the future. We also suggest that anyone having any constructive suggestion to put forward regarding the future of the Vigornian should write to the Editors. This term has not been over-eventful; we have been free from epidemics and indeed from all disturbing influences on the School's life. The Headmaster has moved from School House to No. 14 College Green, the house at the west end of College Hall, this being the first of the planned series of improvements designed to increase the School's efficiency. The space vacated, has been utilised in part as classrooms, and among other things has provided the Day Boy monitors with a muchneeded Common Room. Finally we wish the whole School and all O.V.s a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
