No. 166. EDITORIAL.
The most important event of the term, though it has naturally not made any great difference in the internal working of the School, has been the taking over by the Governors of Tredennyke School, which is being conducted as a separate preparatory school under the direction of the Headmaster's brother, Mr. D. D. Kittermaster. The numbers in the School this term, including Choir House, are 352, and the staff consists of thirteen masters and five mistresses, besides the Headmaster. The 1st XV won only three of their eleven matches, but they scored in the aggregate 85 points against their opponents' 183, so that the result is not as poor as it might appear at first sight. They are a youthful and inexperienced side, and their play has shown promise. Many O.V.s will share the pleasure that the School as a whole feels in the revival of the J.T.C. band, which we hope will soon regain the exceptional high reputation that the King's School Band used to enjoy in O.T.C. Camps before the War.
