It is a very long time since the weather of the Easter Term has been so favourable : looking through past Vigornians of the Spring, the reader would find plenty of variety from year to year, but one complaint running through nearly all : the Floods. This year, however, " Sabrina Fair " has behaved herself extremely well. Not only has there been no flood, but the water-level has been surprisingly low all the time. As a result of the good weather, we have been able to play Rugger more than usual : up till half-term the ground was in almost constant use, and the House " Belows " Matches, as well as the ordinary House Matches, left over from last term, have all been played to a finish. To the weather again we owe a good week's skating at Spetchley Park : Squire Berkeley opened his lake to the public, and on all available half-holidays, including some " extras," we enjoyed ourselves on the ice. The cold spell was in part responsible for an outbreak of influenza, which took its toll of masters as well as boys : otherwise we have been fortunately immune from the epidemics that usually mark the Easter Term. All must have heaved a sigh of relief at the passing of the old " Ketch " Run. The Cross-country Run that took its place is likely to become a popular event : our thanks are due to the enterprise of those responsible for ridding us of the old tyranny, and O.V. who recollect slogging laboriously along the Bath Road will doubtless envy their more fortunate successors.
