Our thanks are due to Mr. Rammell for the splendid pavilion which he has had built in memory of those Old Vigornians who fell during the war. The School has.for a long time needed a new pavilion for its games, and now that this need has been fulfilled it is gratifying to remember that it is also a worthy memorial to those who can play here no longer. # * * We congratulate those who passed the practical " Cert. A," and we hope that they will have had success in the "theoretical," the results of which are not yet known. »

The river has been kind to us this term and has selected to remain within its banks ; consequently we have had a successful hockey season, varied by a certain amount of " rugger." " Soccer " has been played by those of us who are not in either Hockey eleven. The results of the Hockey matches show a considerable improvement in the play of the ist and 2nd XI. as compared to that of last year. * * * Our thanks are due to the Headmaster and Mr. Thomas for initiating us into the mysteries of " Rugger," and for coaching the Hockey elevens during the past term. We also thank Mr. Strong for the interest he has taken in the Rowing and for his valuable services as coach.
