editorial. "Each term when the time for the publication of " The Vigornian " draws near, there arises the same question, "Who is going to write the Editorial?" Whenever this point is raised by the senior editor the silence, to put it mildly, is oppressive, and the decision which is ultimately arrived at, is " Nobody ! "

This term however it has been decided to attemot this apparently impossible task, and this effusion is the result.

At the end of last term we parted with the services of Miss E. M. Hughes and Mr. F. B. Thomas; in their places we heartily welcome Messrs. A. K. Birch Jones and D. W. Walton, from whose gifted pens we are indebted for two most interesting articles which appear in this number; also Mr. A. B. Williams, who has taken charge in the laboratory.

At the time of writing all four of the unfortunate beings, upon whose shoulders rests the Herculean task of producing " The Vigornian," are being bombarded with the question, " When will ' The Vigorrfian ' be out? " We here beg to excuse our seeming tardiness by the plea of unforeseen circumstances, including the illness of one of our number.
