School Our first duty is to announce the further additions to our evergrowing Roll of Honour, six O.V.'s since our last issue have given their lives for their country. There are now 75 names on the list in the College Hall.

It is with deepest regret that we have to announce the impending resignation of our Headmaster, who is leaving us at the end of this term to take up an important post in the new diocese of Coventry. He is to be Sub-Dean of Coventry and Vicar of the Cathedral Church of S. Michael. His task will be by no means a light one, for the post includes many other secondary ones, and the management of a newly-formed Cathedral will not be easy. But Coventry's gain will be our severe loss. For over 22 years he has guided the destinies of the school, during which time its numbers have been almost trebled, and it has under his able guidance progressed by leaps and bounds in every branch. He leaves it now in a state of prosperity never before experienced, and carries with him the heartiest good wishes for success in his new work of all past and present Vigornians.
