School Rotes. This is our second number since the war began, and still the list of O.V.'s who have responded to their country's call grows larger. The total of those known to be serving has already exceeded 160. * * * Nothing can express the pride we feel on account of the honour which has been conferred on Captain Steward, O.V., of the R.A.M.C., who has been most deservedly awarded the Distinguished Service Order for saving life under heavy fire. On two occasions he bravely rescued wounded soldiers at great personal risk. A letter of his is printed elsewhere. * * # Two members of the staff, Mr. Beach-Hicks and Mr. Humby, have taken commissions in the O.T.C. this term. We hope that this welcome addition will do much to increase the zeal and enthusiasm which is very necessary at the present time. * * *
