It is but natural that at the present time our first thoughts should be of the war, and in this connection it gives us very great pleasure to be able to commend so heartily the public spirit and patriotism of the O.V.'s. No less than no are known to be serving, of whom 49 have taken commissions, while 61 are in the ranks.
We are sorry to lose our commanding officer, Lieut. Smith, who has joined his regiment, the Sherwood Foresters, and is now in France. We wish him the best of luck and a safe return. His place in the Corps has been taken by Mr. Board, while that on the staff has been taken by Mr. Humby of Queen's College, Cambridge.
