The gruj.i event of the past term has been the Gymnastic and Boxing competitions for the Public Schools at Aldershot. Ward and Hamilton were the Gyir Pair, and greatly improved on the previous year's record, when we were 28th out of 29 Schools competing. This year there were 31 Schools in the competition, and we finished i/th, beating several much larger Schools. By the Law of Arithmetical Progression, which the Pair, of course, understand perfectly, we should be in single figures next year. # * *
