thing else has characterised this Term. We refer of course to the absence of the Headmaster. Mr. Chappel has found it absolutely necessary to take a longer rest than that afforded by the Christmas vacation in order to regain his strength, which of late has been much overtaxed. We are glad to know that he has been having a very pleasant time, and that the holiday at St. Jean de Luz and elsewhere is achieving its desired result. We confidently look forward to having him with us next term, enjoying better health than he has had for some time. In another place we give an account of Mr. Chappel's wandering, which will, we are sure, be of great interest to all our readers.
