has been more merciful than usual during the present season, and in consequence Father Severn has checked his swollen stream. We now take the opportunity of saying that it has been our aim to make this number specially interesting as regards the history of the School, and we are deeply indebted to Mr. C. A. Steward and the Rev. J. K. Floyer for the assistance they have rendered us in the attainment of this object. When a school has such a history as we have, and enshrined, as our school is, with hallowed traditions, we feel that we are justified in drawing the attention of our readers to the records of the past. * * * Looking back at the football of last term, we may, on the whole, regard the season as a satisfactory one. We followed up our first victory over Hereford at home with another away, and we believe this constitutes a record.
