A sad interruption was made in the routine of last term by an outbreak of mumps. The epidemic claimed between twenty and thirty victims, including, amongst others, all the members of the Boat. Accordingly the Regatta and the race with Hereford had to be postponed. *

The non-rowers finished the term with some cross-country running. The Games Committee offered two prizes, one senior and one junior, to be awarded on the result of two paper-chases. Detailed accounts will be found elsewhere. Darby, the winner of the senior, came home first both times, and well deserved his prize. Tonking ran very pluckily, and was awarded the junior prize. * * * The Gymnastic Competition did not, unfortunately, produce the large number of entries hoped for. It has been suggested that this was
